Introduction:
Join Our Team as Product Specialist for Pyro Products! Metso Pyro business delivers world-class thermal processing solutions for minerals, metals, and waste-to-energy industries. Our aftermarket services ensure the continued performance, reliability, and efficiency of complex equipment such as rotary kilns, coolers, and complete pyro processing systems operating in high temperature, demanding environments and delivering world-class customer support throughout the equipment lifecycle.
In this role, you will resolve technical queries, define and scope highly technical proposals, and ensure the highest standards of technical knowledge management. You will also play a key role in responding to customer problems, developing technical training materials, participating in customer meetings and seminars, and supporting our Global Quotation Support (GQS) and Proposal teams. What you’ll do:
- Resolve technical queries and incidents promptly with effective solutions.
- Define and scope complex proposals in collaboration with engineering, sales, and product teams.
- Provide first-level support to Global Quotation Support (GQS), including documentation retrieval.
- Deliver customized technical solutions and clear value propositions for customer proposals.
- Review inspection reports and recommend actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology
- Experience with CAD software and EDM/Enovia systems preferred.
- Familiarity with the broad range of lime, coke, iron and paper and pulp processing plants is advantageous.
- Process and application knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in technical documentation, knowledge management, and customer support preferred.
- Passionate and engaging, focused on improving operations and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and solve problems effectively.
