Introduction
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management team. In this role, you will lead the execution of major customer contracts involving the design, redesign, retrofit, supply, and installation of equipment and systems. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives. You will report to the Director Project Management - Grinding.
This role is based in York, PA, with hybrid working options available.
This role includes approximately 20% travel, including domestic and international travel to customer sites and project locations.

You will join a team of project management professionals focused on delivering complex capital equipment and systems projects for customers across various industries. Our team plays a key role in ensuring successful project execution, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting profitable business growth through the delivery of high-quality solutions.
We collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, construction, field service teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors. What you'll do
- Manage the execution of major contracts from project award through completion, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and field activities to support successful project outcomes.
- Establish project controls for budgets, cash flow, schedules, and performance metrics, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Resolve project-related issues involving customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the selection, negotiation, and management of subcontractors and major equipment suppliers.
- Coordinate field installation activities, maintain appropriate staffing levels, and minimize project changes and disruptions.
- Promote safety, support customer relationship management activities, and identify opportunities to provide technical solutions that meet customer needs.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience managing engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, or industrial equipment projects.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost management, commercial terms, and construction or equipment contracts.
- Excellent customer relationship management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including travel to remote locations for up to one week at a time.
- Working knowledge of SAP and SAP Project Systems (nice to have).
