Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Sales Support Repairs to join our Repairs Product Group team. You will be responsible for coordinating and working with multiple stakeholders to support and promote Metso's professional services products/offerings. This includes supporting complex service exchange cases, promoting productized repair offerings, presenting to internal and external customers, and developing compelling customer value propositions that will boost sales and profitability growth for the Repairs product group. In this position, you will report to the Director, Product Management & Sales Support, Repairs.
This position is mainly located in any of our offices in the United States or Canada. However, it involves up to 50% of travel to service centers or regional offices to meet with internal sales and customer sites on potential contract agreements.

You will join a team of Product Support experts committed to providing high-quality technical assistance and solutions, who are focused on enhancing customer success and operational efficiency, and that strive to enhance equipment performance and maximize productivity in the mining industry.
What you’ll do:
- Provide expert product sales support within your designated geographical region, with a primary focus on repairs products.Champion and promote repair service exchange offerings in collaboration with Market Area sales teams.
- Manage complex and tailored service exchange sales cases, including those with professional services components.
- Guide pricing effectiveness for repairs through Market Area service centers and ensure profitability in all sales cases.
- Take part in the launch of new repair products and support campaigns and growth programs.
- Act as the link between Market Area Sales and Professional Services product management to deliver cohesive strategies.
- Develop and articulate well-defined value propositions, value argumentation, and win plans for the PSE/Repairs portfolio.
- Guide sales cases from lead to proposal and negotiation stages, ensuring timely progress and positive outcomes.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry positioning, and industry best practices for labor-related services, leveraging this knowledge to build persuasive sales cases.
- Mentor and train Market Area sales teams, Technical Sales Support, and proposal teams on product offerings and effective sales techniques.
Who you are:
- Customer-Centric Approach: Committed customer-oriented mindset with a deep understanding of customer needs and typical maintenance practices.
- Industry Experience:In a sales-related role, most beneficial within the Mining or Aggregates industries, or in a field service or repair center environment.
- Technical Knowledge:In a technical support role with verified ability to understand and address technical difficulties.
- Relationship Building: Experienced in presenting to customers and maintaining solid, lasting customer relationships.
- Tactical Planning: Commercial and financial understanding, "deal engineering" skills, and the ability to craft compelling value propositions that produce results.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across different time zones.
- Sales and Negotiation: Experience in selling labor services and interpreting multi-year contracts.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and engineering drawings is an asset.
- Desirable qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce systems to enhance operational efficiency.Prior experience in interpreting and negotiating complex, multi-year contracts.
