Introduction

 

We are seeking a Sales Director, Thermal Processing  to strengthen our Sales capabilities in Hydrometallurgy and Thermal Processing Business Line. You will be a key player in the Sales Team and drive the Thermal Processing Product Group sales growth. In this position, you will report to the VP, PG Heat Transfer.

This position is mainly located in York, PA but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. There will be 50% of travel required for the role.

You will join a team of thermal processing and engineering experts who are passionate about delivering cutting-edge heat treatment solutions and strive to drive innovation and performance for our clients across diverse manufacturing sectors. We are currently developing next-generation thermal processing systems and working on expanding our global sales strategy and customer engagement initiatives.

 

We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as product development teams, key clients in the aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors, and regional sales managers. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our global Sales Team by driving growth for the Thermal Processing Product Group.
  • Own the global sales strategy for our cutting-edge Thermal Processing solutions and technologies, with full responsibility for performance and expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Market Area (MA) sales teams to align efforts, share insights, and maximize market impact.
  • Lead as a Business Manager in high-value Thermal Processing sales opportunities, from strategy to execution.
  • Influence the future by helping to plan and develop our global sales roadmap for Thermal Processing innovations.
  • Report directly to the Product Group Head (A-line) and the Business Line Sales Head (B-line), ensuring visibility and alignment at the highest levels.

 

Who you are

 

  • Bring deep expertise in Thermal Processing solutions, technologies, and equipment—your know-how will be key to our success.
  • Hold a degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s or higher)—your technical foundation matters.
  • Bring 3 to 10 years of experience in sales or related functions, ideally in industrial or technical environments.
  • Thrive in collaboration with strong interpersonal and teamworking skills that help you build trust and drive results.
  • Communicate with impact—your ability to clearly convey value and negotiate effectively will set you apart.
  • Be driven and proactive—you’re not just sales-oriented, you’re a go-getter who sees opportunities and acts on them.
  • Be ready to travel globally—you’ll connect with clients and teams around the world to grow our presence and partnerships.
  • Have a hunger for success—you’re energized by new business, and you know how to close deals with confidence and precision.
