Introduction:

We’re seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Manager - Product Support to lead product support activities across Metso’s High Pressure Grinding Roll (HPGR) and Dry Grinding Product Group.

This is a key global role focused on both capital equipment and service segments, bringing together technology, customer engagement, and strategy to drive the success of Metso’s products and services.

As the link between engineering, sales, and market area teams, you’ll strengthen customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and enhance the performance of our capital and service offerings within HPGR and Dry Grinding.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, engineering houses, and consultants, identifying and developing new market opportunities.
  • Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and promotional activities in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Support customers in integrating and optimizing HPGR technology within comminution circuits.
  • Provide expert input during proposal development, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, technical requirements, and market expectations.
  • Contribute to product strategy by feeding back insights on performance, pricing, and customer experience to Product Line and Engineering teams.
  • Support Market Area teams with training, opportunity development, and strategic sales planning.
  • Lead the handover of successful sales to project execution teams to ensure smooth delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or Process disciplines (or equivalent experience in product, sales, or business development).
  • 10+ years’ experience in product management, business development, or technical sales within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of HPGR, Dry Grinding, and/or other comminution technology would be preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence within a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly both domestically and internationally.

What's in it for you:

  • An inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life. Minerals and metals are the backbone of essential functions in the modern world. However, there's a pressing need for more sustainable solutions to collect and process them. At Metso, you get to be part of transforming the industry and making a positive change.
  • Wellbeing and safety - Benefit from occupational healthcare, generous benefits plan, healthy living rewards, mental well-being services, and engagement surveys.
  • Compensation and rewards - Global incentive program tied to business and performance targets.
  • Hybrid working possibilities - While we are big advocates of meeting and collaborating in person, we believe in fostering a flexible work environment.
  • A thriving culture - We are committed to developing an inclusive culture that enables everyone to do their best and reach their full potential. A culture that is courageous, compelling, and caring, and unites our people to build a sustainable future together.
  • Extensive learning opportunities - Ongoing growth dialogues, internal mobility, mentoring programs, education assistance, ambitious projects, and global opportunities.
  • Worldwide support - Leverage our network of peers across the world, offering valuable assistance. We get things done together, through open and honest communication.
