Introduction


We are looking for a Vice President, HPGR & Dry Grinding Product Group to join the Grinding Services Business Line Leadership Team. In this role, you will lead and grow the HPGR and Dry Grinding business, with responsibility for shaping its strategy, portfolio, organization, and commercial success. You will accelerate installed base growth and create long-term customer value through equipment, upgrades, and lifecycle services.

 

This role is primarily based in York, PA with flexible working options available.

 

Team you will belong to

 

You will lead a growth-focused global product organization specializing in High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) and Dry Grinding technologies, equipment, upgrades, and services. Our team plays a key role in expanding Metso’s presence in high-potential markets, growing the installed base, and creating recurring value through lifecycle solutions.

We collaborate closely with Sales and frontline organizations, Technical Sales Support, Install Base Intelligence, Product Development, Engineering, Technology, Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain, Pricing and Commercial teams, and other product groups across Metso. Our ways of working emphasize customer focus, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and an entrepreneurial approach to growth.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Lead and develop the HPGR and Dry Grinding Product Group, owning the overall product and service offering.
  • Define and execute the product group strategy, growth roadmap, and go-to-market approach.
  • Build the organization, capabilities, and ways of working required to accelerate sustainable business growth.
  • Drive profitable growth across equipment, upgrades, and lifecycle service offerings.
  • Accelerate installed base expansion and convert installed equipment into recurring service opportunities.
  • Identify, develop, and win new market opportunities, including competitor replacement and new projects.
  • Own product lifecycle management, technology roadmaps, and research and development priorities.
  • Build an engaged, high-performing team through strong leadership, capability development, and succession planning.


What you’ll bring

 

  • Strong leadership experience in product management, business leadership, sales, technology, engineering, or related industrial businesses.
  • Proven ability to build and grow businesses, product portfolios, or market segments in a global environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving growth, profitability, and market development.
  • Experience developing product and market strategies and translating customer needs into business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of equipment, services, and lifecycle business models.
  • Proven ability to lead across complex, global matrix organizations and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Strategic thinking combined with an entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and execution-focused approach.
  • Passion for developing people and building high-performing organizations (nice to have).
