Introduction to the Role
The successful applicant will play a crucial part in build and maintaining active long-term relationships with key decision makers at customers site level and continuously promote Metso’s value adding offering. The candidate will create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction within the site accounts.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering profitable business growth from allocated sites
- Responsibility to create relationships with the key people at the relevent sites and share those with the organisation, connecting key interfaces when and where needed
- Main focus on aftermarket business, yet is able to identify/develop capex opportunities and is responsible to convey the customer requirement to capex sales teams and assist with customer interface where needed
- Plans and has full visibility of the activities for any Metso function relating to the account
- Seeks and coordinates resources and channels to be used for customer-facing activities
- Understands the relevent customer business and is capable to discuss Metso's value
- Drives site sales activities together with cross organizational site account team and understands customer’s capex and opex related decisions and buying timetable
- Drives account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap and plan) as well as CRM activities relating to the account
- Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plan
- Orchestrates Customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities
- Supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections
- Active member of the market area Key Account team
Essential Qualifications & Skills
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy or Mechanical Trade Qualification (With relevent experience) or similar discipline. Sales experience and existing CRM usage is highly regarded. Clear understanding of accounting procedures including profit and loss, budgets and gross margins.Intermediate level of computer literacy in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint.Must have current motor vehicle license and passport.Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time by motor vehicle and commercial flights. Excellent problem-solving, communication, negotiation and persuasive skills is a must for this role.
