Role Overview

This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of Aftermarket Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects by managing procurement and supply chain activities across the entire project lifecycle. Acting as a key project team member, the Project Supply Chain Coordinator ensures that all purchasing and logistics deliverables are aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

The position requires a proactive project management mindset, with responsibilities that include procurement planning, supplier coordination, milestone tracking, and issue resolution. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain activities support overall project goals and customer expectations.

 

What you’ll do

•    Create and manage Purchase Orders as assigned by the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with project schedules, specifications and procurement requirements.
•    Manage supply chain timelines by tracking purchase orders, coordinating supplier activities, and proactively mitigating delays.
•    Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks or deviations from project plans.
•    Facilitate cross-functional communication between engineering, logistics, finance, and quality teams to maintain project alignment.
•    Support project reporting by maintaining accurate procurement documentation and contributing to progress updates.
•    Coordinate logistics and documentation for international shipments, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
•    Oversee project-specific inventory movements, including stock reservations and transfers, to support timely execution.

 

Who you are
•    Strong project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Solid understanding of operational procurement processes and supply chain best practices.
•    Familiarity with international trade compliance and regulatory frameworks.
•    Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement tracking, reporting, and data management.
•    High attention to detail and ownership of procurement deliverables within project constraints.

 

Additional Requirements
•    Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Responsiveness to project timelines, contractual obligations, and customer requirements.
•    Willingness to travel up to 10% to support project execution and supplier engagement.

 

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles within machinery, engineering, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
•    Experience in project-based environments or ETO models is highly desirable.
