Join a global mining technology leader supporting Horizontal Grinding Mill projects worldwide. This role is a key technical position focused on hydraulic, lubrication and drive train systems, driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across project delivery
What you'll do:
As the Technical Specialist, you will provide expert support to Grinding Mills project teams while owning lubrication and drive train specifications across projects and products. Acting as the key link between internal teams, suppliers and global partners, you will ensure compliance, improve delivery processes and support troubleshooting, quality and technical performance across bought-in systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and maintain lubrication and drive train specifications for Horizontal Grinding Mill products
- Provide technical expertise across hydraulic, lubrication and drive systems
- Support project delivery, sourcing and on-site teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting
- Review technical deviations, manufacturing quality issues and component replacements
- Participate in product development, engineering improvements and risk assessments
- Support technical investigations into product failures and performance issues
- Develop and maintain engineering tools, standards and documentation
- Deliver technical training to internal teams, suppliers and customers
- Work closely with global stakeholders to improve efficiency, quality and execution processes
What you'll bring:
You are a technically strong and solutions-focused engineer with experience in heavy industry, mining or large-scale equipment environments. You thrive in collaborative project environments and enjoy balancing technical problem solving with stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
- Experience in hydraulic systems, lubrication systems and heavy industry drive systems
- Strong design and engineering capability within mining or industrial equipment environments
- Excellent communication, presentation and technical report writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple project stakeholders
- Experience with CAD systems including SolidWorks, Inventor or AutoCAD
- Exposure to Enovia PLM and Office 365 products
- Experience supporting delivery engineering, sourcing teams, OEMs and on-site personnel
- A proactive mindset with a focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement
