Join a market-leading engineering team designing and delivering some of the most competitive horizontal grinding mills in the industry.
This is a great opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware Product Engineer to contribute across product development, tendering and project delivery. Working closely with both sales and engineering teams, you’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of our Horizontal Grinding Mills portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Grinding Mills sales and proposal team with technical expertise
- Supporting the preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals by reviewing customer specifications and populating technical deviation lists
- Producing preliminary grinding mill designs for budget and firm tenders
- Drafting technical presentations
- Providing technical guidance to support strategic sales decisions
- Participating in product development activities, including CAD design, calculations and simulations
- Supporting R&D and productisation initiatives
- Producing detailed designs for handover to the Grinding Delivery engineering team
- Maintaining engineering tools and documentation, ensuring quality, traceability and accuracy
- Participating in risk assessments to ensure product safety and compliance
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated engineer who thrives in a technically complex, project-driven environment and enjoys balancing detailed design work with commercial collaboration.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in heavy industrial or complex machinery design
- Proficiency in CAD systems (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD)
- Experience using Enovia PLM and MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical report writing capability
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and work to structured schedules
