We are currently seeking a Junior Control Systems Engineer specialising in SCADA who will develop to become a key part of the Metso BMH Engineering team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Learn to Design and configure SCADA systems to conform to operational requirements and required standards.
• Learn to develop and integrate SCADA system changes to production environments.
• Develop skills in PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
• Develop skills in IT/OT operations.
• Work as part of a team of Control System Engineers.
• Participate in team collaboration and knowledge management

WHO YOU ARE:

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical field or approaching graduation in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience or demonstrated capability in engineering, data analytics, technical support, or operational management.
• Experience with programming languages, operations and dashboard development to support data-driven decision-making.
• Strong experience developing standard operating procedures and other documentation.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive, adaptable and eager to learn.
• Able to swiftly adapt to and learn new technologies.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process automation.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus on task completion
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent and literate in English language.
• Customer service mindset.

Desirable Experience

• Ideally has experience in IT, electrical, or mining sectors, or familiarity with SCADA environments and transition processes.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Experience with Power Bi.
• Experience of enterprise data management.
