We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join Compliance Team in Vilnius.

 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Conduct and verify KYC questionnaires, supporting documents, and business partner information; provide clarification via email or phone when needed.
  • Perform and manage the end to end due diligence process for new and existing business partners in close cooperation with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Global Compliance teams).
  • Execute and oversee compliance screenings, risk assessments, and follow up actions to ensure timely resolution and alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Compliance database, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and proper documentation.
  • Track and monitor the progress of due diligence activities for all business partners and their transactions, preparing and submitting regular status updates and reports.
  • Participate in internal meetings to communicate compliance processes, updates and requirements, supporting stakeholders with guidance and clarifications.
  • Contribute to process improvement, harmonization, digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance compliance quality, efficiency and ways of working.
  • Support knowledge sharing within the team by applying best practices and ensuring consistent use of compliance tools and standards.

 

Basic requirements for the position

  • Proven experience in Compliance, Due Diligence and KYC processes.
  • Strong ethical principles, including alignment with Metso Values.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with Sales, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with initiative, curiosity and a hands on approach to problem solving.
  • Digital competence and familiarity with modern compliance or AI supported tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality and accountability.
