Introduction
We are seeking a Engineer, Design, CSP Engineering to join our CSP Data and Individual Components team. You will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of Crusher and auxiliary components. which involves understanding of engineering concepts like 3D modelling and drafting, material standards, welding standards. Your role plays a crucial part in achieving the on-time delivery of design task/request, achieving collaborative working environment, which will contribute to on time execution of jobs and positively impact team’s output. In this position, you will report to CSP Data and Individual Components team manager.
This position is mainly located in Vadodara, India, it involves up to less than 5% of travel.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of design engineers dedicated to work on design tasks related to various crushing equipments, this team is passionate about delivering the design with great quality. We are currently working on various crusher design tasks and supporting RnD project’s tasks. We work closely with internal Teams, such as CSP Product Quality and Upgrades team, Solution development teams. Our team culture is all about customer in center & getting it done together. Our internal customers are located globally.
What you’ll do
- Design, development and Maintenance of crusher components and auxiliary equipment parts and data
- Creation and maintenance of product technical documentation, to support products within design responsibility
- Supporting the aftermarket needs for customers and installed equipment.
- Support development of hydraulic and lubrication systems
- 3D modelling, drafting and drawing checking
- Individually or as a team member perform daily engineering work such as 3D modelling, production of manufacturing drawings, simple technical calculations, and component selection for equipment.
- Collaborate with Internal and external customers.
Who you are
- B Tech / BE in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Strong engineering background with between 5 to 8 years of experience
- Understand of engineering tools: 2D, 3D (NX), PLM (preferably Teamcenter).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., fabrication, machining, casting, forging, welding)
- Knowledge of assembly processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of materials and material properties
- Knowledge of crushers / mobile crushers is a plus
- Knowledge of Hydraulic system and hydraulic components
- Knowledge of hydraulic related commercial items knowledge and hydraulic standards
- Knowledge of standards ISO, IS, DIN, ASME, ANSI, European dimensional & material standards.
- Knowledge of change management process is a plus
- Must have the ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English) – mandatory
