Introduction

 

We are seeking for Deputy Manager, Mechanical Maintenance to supports in Vadodara foundry unit, you will be responsible for Mechanical maintenance related work which involves Maintaining and upkeeping of all Plant & Machinery and ensures a high Uptime of all production equipment.

What you’ll do

 

  • Ensure to comply with AP and local safety, health, and environment standard, fulfil the mandatory safety requirement and activities: safety training, safety meeting, and all other requirements by AP EH&S and local regulation.
  • Monitor the serviceability of plant equipment and facilities and ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
  • Provide hand-on technical skills at troubleshooting and all related maintenance work or supporting work.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Maintenance for EOT Cranes/Sand Plant with exposure to Pneumatic/ Hydraulic for Heavy engineering equipment.
  • Team Player and attitude for Maintenance Planning Strategy with exposure to TPM and Energy Conservation.
  • Good technical diagnostic ability for fault finding and creating Prevention aspect.
  • Response to maintenance requirements scheduled or unscheduled/emergency jobs, on 24/7 base, prompt response to requests for assistance and putting in the time and effort to meet our customer’s expectations.
  • To be familiar with all equipment in plants, maintain all maintenance equipment accurate documents integrity and equipment history database reachable.
  • Provide hand-on technical skills at the troubleshooting and all related maintenance work or supporting work responsible.
  • Perform preventive maintenance work and support the implementation of mechanical Integrity work, troubleshooting, repair for all equipment.
  • Coordinate or assist of supervision the contractor’s work in the facility or shop to guarantee safety, quality, and reliability.
  • Reporting-Time entry weekly and assist supervisor to prepare technical reports/ drawing, etc.

 

Who you are

 

  • A Degree in Mechanical engineering with minimum 12-14 years in Foundry Industry as a hands-on maintenance technician in Foundry.
  • Experience in major shutdown support, project work, plant operations and maintenance efforts. Experience in foundry operation and maintenance is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of vendor contracts and knowledge of shop support in the region is desirable.
  • Working experience in a foundry or similar facilities for knowledge in understanding & hands on experience.
  • Good Communication skill with stakeholder Management and Analytical thinking.
  • He should have hands on skill for Fault Finding and thorough knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance.
  • He should be good implementor/challenger for Preventive/Predictive/Productive Maintenance Processes with minimized Break-down Maintenance.
  • Sound Knowledge of SAP & MS Office (Excel, word & Power point)
