Introduction
Metso, a global leader in sustainable technologies, comprehensive solutions, and services for the minerals processing, aggregates, metal recycling, and waste management industries, is looking for a Service Engineer in Monolia, Ulaanbaatar.
In this position you will report to Field Service Manager (located in Kazakhstan).

In this role you will work at one of the world’s largest copper and gold deposits, located in Mongolia - a great opportunity to gain expertise in maintenance services and repair of mining equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties on this position:

Perform assembly, maintenance, repair, and modernization of equipment at the customer site.

Participate in the development of work plans.

Study and interpret technical documentation.

Train the customer’s technical personnel.

Conduct comparative analysis of test results and equipment operating conditions; evaluate possible repair options.

Carry out operational tasks to ensure uninterrupted equipment performance.

Research technical and scientific literature to support reliable and efficient equipment operation.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
-
Higher technical education.
-
Proven experience in maintenance, installation, commissioning, and repair of mining and mineral processing equipment, including technical audits of crushing, screening, and processing equipment.

Ability to work with technical documentation (drawings, diagrams).

A friendly and open attitude.
-
Proficiency in English is required, Russian language skill is an advantage.
