Sr. logistics specialist

Senior Logistics Specialist main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. To ensure goods be shipped on time for both ocean freight and air freight. Responsible for monitoring logistics process & documentation preparation & system MTG maintenance. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive key logistics metrics like on-time delivery, on time book, on time pick up.
2. To coordinate with factory / project team to optimize order delivery schedule based on factory planning to shorten booking lead time.
3. To manage domestic orders integrity that enhance customer satisfaction. Enable to support off duty & holidays for emergency cases.
4. To apply for freight invoices base on company finance guideline.
5. To execute business in compliance.
6. To collaborate LSPs performance with global logistics management. Improve LSPs service level continually.
7. To implement transportation system and related tools in Metso visibility blueprint.
8. To assist global in delivering sustainable development projects across logistics and supply chains.
9. To complete tasks assigned by team leader temporarily.

   Key performance indicators & key skills

   1. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in logistics function and exportation experiences in multi-national company is preferred.
   2. Bachelor’s degree or above, trade / logistics related major. English is good on both written and spoken.  Logical capability is preferred. 
   3. Teamwork spirit.
   4. Good communication & interpersonal skill in cross functions e.g. purchase, order fulfilment, warehouse.
   5. Capability in collaborating both operational and commercial aspects and good skill in influence without authority.
   6. A personal with high motivation on continues development and would like to contribute for Metso We go beyond strategy. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
   7. Computer skills including MS Office & SAP.
   8. Familiar with the EU’s policies on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
