Technical Sales Support Engineer

WHAT YOU'LL DO :        

                  

  • Provide technical sales support for opportunities within the CEA  Region.
  • Participate in Customer site based regular visits, [as required] with the intention of providing product-based support. Work closely with the Sales Account Management team to take ownership of the appointed mine sites with total understanding of the customer’s needs and develop further opportunities.
  • Meet with customers on an as needed basis to discuss/review profile and optimization plans.
  • Receive and develop customer requests for quoations
  • Collect information and material from various support functions and package this into relevant proposal content
  • Present proposals to internal and external stakeholders
  • Train and continuously communicate with local Market Area in doing wear readings, assessment and recommendations.
  • Perform as local product expert for MLB  products and related services.
  • Works closely with PL to deploy new product information/campaigns, best practices, sales training, and     technology-specific value argumentation
  • Offers insight on competition and advises team on pricing levels, etc.
  • Negotiates pricing levels and/or deliveries for product line.
  • Participate in Business line monthly performance and opportunity meetings.
  • Demonstrate a cooperative team approach and collaboration within the MLB team. Work effectively with other teams and departments.
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of Products and techniques associated with product support activities.
  • Be willing to travel regularly to any of the CEA countries and customer sites.
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Account Management team on opportunities of the appointed site and report regularly on progress of these opportunities.
  • Assist Sales Department and Proposals in upgrades and modernization selection and sizing, technical clarifications, and technical clarification meetings.
  • Develop Opportunity Strategies and or customer, site-based opportunities.
  • Responsible for sales target numbers in respective region.
  • Understands the market, competition, and the industry best practices for the defined technology and     ensures that the sales case is built accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned.
