Introduction
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing quality inspections at third-party supplier sites, which involves reviewing QA/QC documentation, monitoring manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Your role plays a crucial part in maintaining product integrity and ensuring timely delivery, which will contribute to the overall success of the project and customer satisfaction through consistent quality assurance.
This position is located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

What you’ll do
- Safe and secure the contractual delivery dates as per PO, as well as correct packing according requirements.
- Check manufacturing status in the workshop acc. drawings, inspection and test plan, fabrication schedule.
- Compare against progress documentation and validate status.
- Minimum weekly report to be send.
- In case of actual issues to be discussed and clarified, inform immediately by call & e-mail.
- Check purchasing and availability of base material and welding material against material- and time schedule and give a material availability forecast.
- Check material traceability, quantity of base material and welding material acc. order information, equipment specification and order requisition of material (base- & filler material).
- Check transfer of base material traceability prior, during, after cutting with heat number and material grade or according internal company procedure.
- Check prior welding that the applicable used WPS is already qualified by a valid WPQR and available for the welders.
- Check if WPS is at the place and all parameters are fulfilled by welders.
- Check if welders / welding operator are qualified for welding the applicable weld seam and it´s progress is documented.
- Check if welding consumables are treated acc. Manufacturer´s specification (drying time, temperature etc.) including recording system.
- Check if applicable, heat treatment is done acc. procedure including recording system.
- Check if applicable NDE activites are performed with a valid procedure and certified personnel which are owner of valid certificate and valid eyetest is available.
- Check welding quality acc.
- Inspection and Test Plan, drawing and technical specification requirements.
- Check preliminary workmanship of treatment regarding stainless steel. (free of carbon steel, pickling & passivating).
- Check final documentation as possible.
- Check of VT-reports and remeasurement of manufactured parts.
- Check packing, marking and labelling for expedition check (depending of progress).
- Checking of mechanical tests (Destructive Testing etc.).
- Check time schedule against activities in the workshop for tracebility and feasebility.
- In case of indication for logical breaks in workshop and/or planning, give corrective recommendation to supplier and inform by reporting about each single topic.
- Check availability of enough skilled workers in the shop in regard to time schedule.
- In case of indication for lack of stuff, give corrective recommendation to supplier and inform by reporting about each single topic.
- Check surface preparation, prior coating especially on edge preparation P3, humidity, drying time.
- Thickness of primer, top coat.All Review ( R )- Witness ( W )- and Hold ( H ) Points according ITP shall be checked.
Who you are
- You have excellent communication skills in Uzbek and English
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in material or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent education
- You have at least 5 years’ work experience
- You have profound knowledge of quality processes and practices
- You are good in capability into products and processes
- You are able to problem solve and perform root cause analysis
- You have excellent planning, teamwork and organizing skills
- You have goal- and success-oriented thinking and acting, driving for results
- You are good in welding documentation (WPS, WPQR, WPQ), NDT procedures, and coating procedures knowledge
