Summer Trainee, Sales & Operations Planning and Inventory Management

As a Summer Trainee – Sales & Operations Planning and Inventory Management, you will:

• Be part of a recently re-structured organization and contribute to a key area of the global supply chain

• Work in the global S&OP and Inventory Management team, participating in activities related to global demand & supply management, S&OP governance, inventory- and network management 

• Have opportunities to contribute to both strategic and tactical initiatives within Sales & Operations Planning globally 

• Take part in a role that combines operational responsibilities with strategic and development-oriented tasks throughout different phases 

• Support the daily operational excellence of global demand & supply management, contribute to the execution of global S&OP governance and assist in various development initiatives 

• • Example task: collect, analyze and prepare global demand data for a Business Line from various sources as part of the monthly S&OP cycle 

Who you are 

• Currently pursuing your Master's studies in Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field 

• Curious, proactive and open to share ideas and perspectives 

• Eager to learn, with an innovative and out-of-the-box mindset  

• Able to balance operational tasks with involvement in more tactical initiatives  

• Proficient in MS Office tools, basic knowledge of SAP/other supply chain related systems/tools 

• Good written and spoken English skills 

• Able and willing to work primarily at our Tampere/Espoo office, as we believe in the value of face-to-face collaboration for learning, networking and becoming an integrated part of our workplace community

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location. 

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
