Materials Processing Products (MPP Global), part of Metso Aggregates Business Area manufactures Crushing, screening, and shredding equipment for Aggregates and Recycling customers, globally, utilizing the joint experience and market share of 6 key brands. McCloskey, Lippmann, Tesab, McCloskey Environmental, SMI, and Diamond Z with over 40 years of experience in trading each.

The role will be key in supporting our understanding of our position in the global market and help us to gain insight into our regional strengths and weaknesses.

As a Trainee – Market Intelligence & Analytics, you will​

• Data extraction of commodity and trade data from government agencies globally for selected equipment.
• Creation of analytics dashboards and tools for management & sales.
• Search and propose the utilization of new data sources and applications.
• Data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Market intelligence data automation and update.
• Integration of data into other planning and dealer KPIs and metrics.
• Work together with business development, sales, and planning to help create a more accurate and unified market understanding.
• Conduct specific business data analysis in accordance with the sales and business development guidance.

Who you are

• Commercial, information technology, or engineering education background.
• Analytical and data-centered approach.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Good skills in Microsoft Excel are a must, prior Power BI or programming experience is an advantage.
• Eagerness to learn new skills, develop and succeed.
• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
