As a Summer Trainee – Digital Services, Aggregates, you will:

Provide operational support for our AI-enabled data platform and IoT data collection platform as part of our Digital Services team.
Analyze data and create algorithms to detect maintenance opportunities for Metso equipment.
Support data quality improvement.
Help our technical support, sales, and field service teams to take full advantage of the applications.
Get to participate in building AI-powered applications to support internal efficiency of Metsonites troubleshooting Metso equipment.

Who you are

A higher degree study background in fields such as IT, Computer Science or Data Science.
Experience in data engineering or data science projects.
Working knowledge in data analysis methods and tools.
Curiosity to go beyond the numbers and understand how data can help to solve real-world problems.
Service mindset with strong getting things done attitude.
Work experience with Palantir and Salesforce platforms is an advantage.
Fluent written and spoken skills in English. Finnish and other language skills are an advantage.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
