Introduction 

We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our Services, Global Logistics Operations, Operational Purchasing team. In this role, you will be part of Market Area purchasing organization which supports our customers' aftermarket spare and wear part needs. Your main responsibility is to execute purchase orders to our suppliers and ensure on-time delivery both to our warehouses and direct to customer sites. You will be the main contact for our suppliers and work closely with several internal interest groups. You will participate in supplier and process development. In this position, you will report to Operational Purchasing Manager.

This position is located in Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

You will join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting our customers’ aftermarket spare and wear part needs. We work closely with several internal interest groups such as Global Order Operations and Inventory Planning. Our team culture is all about getting things done together. 

What you’ll do 

• You will execute purchase orders to our suppliers and ensure on-time delivery both to our warehouses and direct to customer sites.  
• You will be the main contact for our suppliers and work closely with several internal interest groups.  
• You will participate in supplier and process development. 

Who you are 

• You have a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering or business
• You understand how purchasing supports business
• You have a genuine interest in finding solutions to day-to-day problems and challenges
• Experience in procurement or in aftermarket business is valued
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
• You are at your best in a hectic work environment and are not afraid of making decisions independently.
