We are seeking a Process Owner, Inventory Planning, to join our Logistics Excellence team. You will be responsible that the Inventory Planning process area for Aftermarket materials is fit for purpose, and it is integrated with other Metso processes on the global and local level. You are also leading the continuous improvement and ensuring that process metrics are measured effectively. In this position, you will report to Heli Lattu, Senior Manager of Process Development.
This position is mainly located in Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Process Owners who are dedicated to managing and improving the delivery processes as well as identifying and developing opportunities that enhance our supply chain.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as Global Inventory Planning & Network, Purchasing, and Warehousing. Our team culture is all about finding solutions and continuous improvement. The members of our team are located in Finland and Sweden.
What you’ll do
- Ensure Inventory Planning capability meets business objectives
- Define, develop, and document Inventory Planning processes
- Coordination of business requirements gathering and prioritization for process, systems, and metrics development related to inventory planning
- Lead the continuous improvement related to Inventory Planning, build virtual teams, and ensure best practice sharing.
- Develop and implement guidelines and business rules for Inventory Planning in co-operation with stakeholders representing different organizations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the global operating model and other Metso processes
Who you are
- You have Master’s, or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or Industrial Engineering and Management
- Minimum 5 years related work experience with applicable industry, and/or process area
- Good understanding of business processes and their dependencies
- Proven track record of process management and development using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
- Excellent skills to create business and technical documentation
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing across all organizational levels
- Ability to work effectively with global, remote, and diverse teams.
- Solid communication and change management skills.
You have system-thinking and continuous improvement mindset and excellent organizational and analytical skills. You have ability to turn operations feedback and voice of customer to steps of improvement in their respective process areas. You have ability to develop action plans and roadmaps, and you have a strong drive to complete tasks and projects. You can identify in value stream level teams and capable of connecting and maintaining a network of experts. You have strong communication skills, and you are not afraid of acting with people in all levels.
