We are seeking Logistics Manager to join our manufacturing operations Organization.
You will be responsible for Tampere factory internal logistics. Your role plays a crucial part in our main responsibility, execution of our production plan, which will contribute and positively impact to our customer satisfaction.
Team you belong to
In this position, you will report to the Director, Manufacturing operations. This position is located in Tampere Factory and is a leading position with Manager responsibilities to the organization of 30 employees currently 3 white collars report to the Logistics manager and Manufacturing Managers and change managers as team members/colleagues.
What you’ll do
- Leading organization, safety & employee experience
- Leading development of material flow process & factory capability
- Implementing strategy and participating in change management
- Daily activities of the logistics department include:
- reception process of incoming goods
- warehousing & inventory management activities
- picking process
- internal logistics and service of manufacturing areas & stakeholders
Who you are
You are a solid performer, have a self-driven attitude, and have natural leadership skills to lead through manager roles in matrix organizations. You are comfortable with multi-tasking and Your excellent cooperation and communication skills help you to work with multiple stakeholders from different teams.
Production leadership role experience, production planning and production systems knowledge, and SAP/ERP and inventory management knowledge would be seen as a benefit. The position requires fluent English and Finnish both oral and written.
