We are looking for a Global Order Specialist to join our Global Order Management team in Tampere, Finland. This is a temporary one-year position covering a parental leave.

As a Global Order Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth and accurate execution of global customer orders for Metso Aggregates products. You will coordinate orders throughout the order process, work closely with our customers and internal stakeholders globally, and ensure timely and reliable communication throughout the order execution.

You will report to the Manager, Global Order Management, and the role is based in Tampere, Finland, with a hybrid working model available.

Team you will belong to

You will join our Global Order Management team in Tampere. Our team is responsible for coordinating global customer orders and ensuring a smooth order flow across the business. In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with sales teams, customers, distributors, factories and their order offices, as well as other stakeholders across the organization. We work in a fast-paced and international environment where collaboration, customer focus, ownership, and clear communication are essential.

What you’ll do

•    Manage global customer orders from order receipt through execution and follow-up.
•    Review incoming orders and ensure that order information is complete and accurate.
•    Process and maintain orders in SAP and other relevant systems.
•    Coordinate order flow and delivery-related matters with sales, factories, factory order offices, and other key stakeholders.
•    Communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders about order status, schedules, changes, and other order-related topics.
•    Provide operational support and respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries.
•    Take ownership of assigned orders and ensure that issues are followed through to resolution.
•    Support reliable order execution, business continuity, and high-quality customer service.
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement of order management processes and ways of working.

Who you are

•    A suitable degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or another relevant field.
•    Previous experience in order management, customer service, supply chain, logistics, or a similar operational role.
•    Experience working in an international business environment. Experience in the manufacturing industry is considered an advantage.
•    Good system skills. Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or other ERP systems is considered an advantage.
•    Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish.
•    A customer-focused and proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
•    The ability to manage several topics simultaneously and prioritize your work in a changing environment.
•    A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
•    A willingness to take ownership, learn, and continuously develop your ways of working.
