Introduction
Metso is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Application Owner for Project Management area applications to join our IT Supply Chain Management domain and Production, Quality and Project management Team. In this role, you will own the lifecycle management and development of IT solutions in this area.
This position is mainly located in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
What you’ll do
As Application Owner, Supply Chain, you will:
- Collect and document requirements from business stakeholders, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions and transfer knowledge to stakeholders
- Collaborate with external partners and internal development teams for enhancements and integrations
- Serve as the subject matter expert for project management area applications, providing guidance to stakeholders across business areas
- Coordinate, delegate, and monitor IT work
- Achieve business value metrics and KPIs: performance, availability, satisfaction, usability, security, and cost.
- Participate in IT tools and processes development, driving adoption of agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices within the team to improve delivery speed and solution quality
- Take on special project/program/product delivery IT responsibilities as needed
Who you are
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information management, supply chain, project management or economics
- Minimum 3+ years of IT and supply chain work experience
- Solid Dynamics Project Operations module and Power Platform knowledge, excellent project management process knowledge and good understanding of application integration architecture
- Experience with .NET applications
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent).
- Experience of Jira and confluence.
- A self-directed individual with a curious mindset, problem-solving skills, and creativity
- Ability to work independently with ownership mindset while coordinating effectively with distributed teams
- Professional proficiency in English for stakeholder communication and documentation
- Willingness to travel occasionally (<15%)
