Production Administration Support Officer

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role sits at the heart of our production team. You’ll play a key part in coordinating customer orders, supporting production planning, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations to drive efficiency and on-time delivery.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of administration, coordination, and working closely with a hands-on manufacturing team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production planning and administration activities alongside the Operations Manager and Leadership Team
  • Create and manage work orders in line with production schedules and customer delivery requirements
  • Coordinate and process customer orders across the production and supply chain functions
  • Review Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and technical drawings to prepare job cards for the workshop
  • Receipt and finalise work orders, adjusting materials, labour, and costs based on production feedback
  • Maintain accurate production records to support traceability and quality compliance
  • Manage and update material master data within SAP
  • Liaise with production teams to track order progress and resolve issues
  • Provide general office support including reception duties, mail handling, and meeting coordination
  • Maintain a professional and organised office environment
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

 

Skills & Experience

  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience in a similar role (2+ years preferred)
  • Exposure to a manufacturing or production environment
