Introduction
We are seeking a Wear analysis engineer to join our Mill Lining team. You will be responsible of ensuring that we actively look for opportunities for mill lining optimizations and create value to support our business. The goal is to use wear monitoring to protect and grow the mill liner business by providing more value and a better service. In this position, you will report to the Assistant Manager, Mill Lining Wear Analysis.
This position is located in Canada. We are ready to offer hybrid options. However, it involves occasional visits to customer sites.

You will join a team of Mill Lining experts committed to generating quality information that can be delivered to internal and external clients in a timely manner to boost the commercial side of the company and provide peace of mind to the client.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as design and commercial team. The members in our team are located in Peru and Canada.
What you’ll do:
- Processing and Analyzing Wear Data: You’ll work with detailed wear inspection data, providing valuable insights and creating customer reports that enable guide maintenance planning and parts sourcing.
- Collaborating with Cross-functional Teams: You’ll closely work with our design, commercial, and product support teams to ensure reports are delivered on time and align with customer needs.
- Optimizing Mill Liner Designs: Based on wear analysis, you’ll suggest high-level design improvements to enhance mill liner performance and extend service life.
- Innovating and Supporting Product Development: You’ll contribute to the evolution of our wear monitoring software, testing new features and offering feedback to improve functionality.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: You'll have the opportunity to train internal and external teams on best practices for mill inspections.
Who you are:
- Experience with Mill Lining Products: A background in mill lining systems or related industries.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 3D Design Knowledge: Familiarity with mining plants and design softwares.
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present findings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Software’s: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Languages: Fluency in French (highly beneficial, but not required).
