Introduction
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Manufacturing / Production team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, including mold assembly, and manufacturing execution, ensuring products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. This role involves coordinating people, processes, and equipment while driving continuous improvement. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing operations, which will positively impact operational performance, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness. In this position, you will report to the Production Manager.
This position is located in Sudbury manufacturing location.

You will join a team of manufacturing and production professionals dedicated to delivering reliable, efficient, and high‑quality production output. The team strives to meet customer demand through standardized processes, operational excellence, and strong shop‑floor leadership. We are currently working on production optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, new product industrialization, and daily manufacturing execution.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless production flow and alignment with technical and quality requirements. Our team culture is all about safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on Lean and Kaizen principles. The members of our team are located in local and global manufacturing locations, supporting broader operational and technology initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily production operations, including order receipt, production planning, mold assembly, and manufacturing execution to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Optimize the use of manpower, machines, and materials to ensure production is completed within defined lead times.
- Apply technical expertise in injection molding processes to maintain stable, efficient, and capable production.
- Standardize and continuously improve production processes, layouts, work instructions, and SOPs in line with global and local standards.
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), driving actions that enhance productivity, safety, quality, and cost performance.
- Support equipment maintenance activities, including breakdown support and preventive maintenance planning.
- Lead quality management activities, including ISO 9001 compliance, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise and guide production teams, fostering a strong culture of teamwork, safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Who you are
- You hold an advanced degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering, or a closely related field.
- You bring at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, industrial engineering, or maintenance environments.
- You have strong knowledge of production processes, with plastic injection molding experience considered an advantage (nice‑to‑have).
- You apply a Lean mindset, using Kaizen, continuous improvement tools, and performance management techniques effectively.
- You are experienced in quality systems such as ISO 9001, with exposure to Six Sigma or statistical methods (nice‑to‑have).
- You demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills..
- You communicate confidently in English and remain flexible and responsive in a dynamic production environment.
- As a people leader, you collaborate effectively across functions and guide teams through change and improvement initiatives

For positions that may be performed in Ontario, the expected salary range is $69,800.00 – $81,500.00 CAD per year. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and role-related qualifications. Compensation for roles performed outside Ontario will be determined in accordance with applicable local laws and market conditions.
