Introduction
We are seeking a Junior Production Operator to join our Production Operations team. You will be responsible for operating injection molding machines and supporting daily production activities in line with safety, quality, and operational standards, which involves equipment operation, mold setup, material handling, and quality inspections. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes, which will positively impact production performance and product reliability. In this position, you will report to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager.
This position is mainly located in our Sudbury manufacturing facility in Canada, with on-site presence required to support production operations and flexibility to work assigned shifts as needed.


Team You Belong To
You will join a team of production and injection molding operators who are dedicated to safe operations, quality manufacturing, and continuous improvement. The team strives to deliver reliable molded and assembled components that meet defined specifications and production targets. We are currently working on daily production execution, equipment operation, mold assembly, and quality control activities.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams, to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. Our team culture is built around safety-first behaviors, teamwork, accountability, LEAN principles, and continuous improvement. Team members are located on-site at the manufacturing facility and collaborate across shifts and functions.


What you’ll do

  • Operate injection molding machines to safely and efficiently produce quality components.
  • Perform basic mold setup, assembly, and die setting according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Carry out daily Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to support reliable machine performance.
  • Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure products meet defined standards.
  • Read and follow technical drawings, job specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Handle materials and components responsibly, ensuring readiness and proper flow within production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S, LEAN, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams while supporting additional tasks as assigned.


Who you are

  • You have a strong safety-first mindset and follow health, safety, and environmental rules at all times.
  • You bring a high level of attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy in your work.
  • You are comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, including standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
  • You can read and understand engineering drawings, quality specifications, and work instructions.
  • You are reliable, accountable, and able to follow direction from supervisors and team leaders.
  • You communicate clearly and work well as part of a team across different functions and shifts.
  • You are flexible and willing to support changing production priorities and shift requirements.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience in manufacturing or injection molding, and/or overhead crane, hoist, or forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

For positions that may be performed in Ontario, the expected salary range is $51,300.00 – $59,800.00 CAD per year. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and role-related qualifications. Compensation for roles performed outside Ontario will be determined in accordance with applicable local laws and market conditions.
