Introduction

 

Join Metso as a Product Manager and lead the global growth of our Crushing 3rd Party Premium Aftermarket—delivering high-performance spare and wear parts, repairs, and lifecycle services for non-Metso equipment in the mining industry.

 

In this strategic role, you’ll define the solution roadmap, collaborate with global Market Areas, and drive aftermarket penetration to enhance customer value and long-term profitability. You’ll blend technical expertise with business insight to position Metso as the go-to partner for sustainable mining solutions. In this position, you will report to Director, Classic Crusher Products

 

This position can be located at any of our Metso North Central America locations, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements. This position could entail up to 50% global travel.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Lead global strategy for Crushing 3rd Party Premium Aftermarket, boosting sales of spares, wears, repairs, and lifecycle services for non-Metso crushers.
  • Manage Product Portfolio: Define and evolve offerings with clear specs, pricing, and value propositions; ensure global consistency and competitiveness.
  • Champion Customer Insights: Translate market intelligence into actionable strategies; support value-based selling and represent Metso at industry events.
  • Integrate Lifecycle Services: Collaborate across teams to embed aftermarket solutions into long-term service contracts and improve equipment uptime.
  • Advance Digital & Sustainable Solutions: Leverage data analytics and digital tools to optimize performance and promote eco-friendly offerings.
  • Protect Innovation: Support IP development and protection through collaboration with Engineering and Legal.
  • Enable Global Teams: Deliver training and tools to Market Areas, ensuring consistent messaging and adoption of aftermarket solutions.

 

Who you are

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in equipment technologies
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Mining or similar industry experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and team collaboration abilities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills
  • Skilled in prioritization, negotiation, and value-based selling
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and operations preferred
