We are seeking a Head of Regional Consumables Logistics, South America to join our Consumables Regional Operating Hub organization. You will be responsible for leading and managing all logistics operations within the region covering Brazil, Chile and Peru, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused delivery of goods. This involves overseeing regional/customer-facing logistics, factory/sending logistics, and warehousing activities. Your role plays a crucial part in aligning with global supply chain strategies while meeting regional service level agreements and compliance requirements, which will contribute to improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In this position, you will report to the Head of Consumables Regional Operating Hub, South America. This position can be based in any of the main locations within the region.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of logistics and supply chain experts dedicated to optimizing delivery performance, cost management, and customer satisfaction. We are currently working on enhancing transportation and distribution networks, implementing automation and digitalization initiatives in warehousing, and driving continuous improvement programs such as Lean and Six Sigma.
We work closely with internal stakeholders such as global supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams, as well as external partners including carriers and 3PLs. Our team culture is all about collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage all logistics operations within the assigned region.
- Oversee transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Manage relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and other logistics partners.
- Monitor and optimize delivery performance, cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regional trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Coordinate outbound logistics from manufacturing sites to distribution centers or customers.
- Manage regional warehouse operations, including inventory control and storage optimization.
- Define and track KPIs for logistics efficiency, cost, and service levels; implement continuous improvement programs.
Who you are
- Experienced in logistics management, supply chain operations, and team leadership.
- Skilled in optimizing transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks.
- Strong relationship management abilities with carriers, 3PLs, and logistics partners.
- Proficient in monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Knowledgeable about trade regulations and customs compliance.
- Collaborative leader who fosters teamwork across global and regional supply chain functions.
