Introduction
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Execution team in Crushing service products (CSP) Business Line within Services Business Area. In this role, you will be responsible for Crusher spares project execution and related customer communication. The Project Manager will ensure parts deliveries are tracked and delivered on time to meet customer expectations and site requirements, fulfill contract obligations, and achieve targets for safety, quality, schedule and budget.
The preferred location for this position is Sorocaba, Brazil as in this role the selected candidate will be managing projects mainly located in Brazil and South America.
This position may require internal and international travel, based on the needs of the business.
In this role you will report to Director, Project Execution.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of experienced project managers, planners and administrators with expertise in crushing service products dedicated to ensuring reliable, on-time project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction. We are currently working on complex spare parts delivery and execution projects for mining customers.
We work closely with external customers as well as internal stakeholders such as Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance.

The members in our team are located globally in Chile, Finland, India, USA and Sweden.
What you’ll do
• Responsible for managing projects, ensuring deliveries are properly resourced, meeting customer expectations, fulfill contract obligations, and achieve targets for safety, quality, schedule and budget.
• Project related Customer and stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
• Ensuring efficient project execution according to Metso processes and policies.
• Delegate deliverables to the project team members and be accountable for the deadlines.
• Responsible to manage lessons learned, identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Who you are
• + 5 years experience in Project Management, PMP Certification is an asset
• Experience with IT tools such as such as MS Office, Teamcenter PLM, SAP, etc.
• Experience in mining or similar manufacturing industries preferred
• Fluent English is required and clear communication skills
• Fundamental knowledge of commercial and legal terms and conditions.
• Strong leadership skills with ability lead project work team members virtually
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings is a plus.
