Introduction
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Crushing Business Line Project Delivery Complex Systems team. You will be responsible for leading and managing complex international projects, mainly crushing plants and conveyor systems, considering all contractual scopes, i.e. engineering, supply and site supervision. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
In this position, you will report to Director, Project Delivery Complex Systems.
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba (Brazil), Dusseldorf (Germany), Brookfield (USA) or Santiago (Chile) and it involves up to 50% of international travel, depending on project phase.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Project Delivery dedicated to manage complex projects of Crushing Plants and Belt Conveyors Systems. We are currently working on several international projects.
We work closely with internal / external stakeholders, such as Business Line Leaders, Market Areas Sales Team, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Proposal and inside the Project Delivery with Engineering and Planning departments.

What you’ll do
• Lead and manage complex international projects for the Crushing Business Line
• Realize end-to-end responsibility for the entire project lifetime, from pre-sale through warranty
• Develop and implement an optimum execution strategy
• Provide direction and guidance to all team members
• Coordinate all internal and external stakeholders of the project with particular emphasis on the customer interface
• Ensure seamless project execution aligned with contractual and performance KPI´s as well as customer satisfaction
• Ensure that opportunities for additional capex and service sales are taken into account
• Enable an efficient and cost-effective turn over to operations
• Maintain high safety standards in delivering all aspects of the project ensuring a strong safety culture and environmental awareness during all phases of the implementation
• Comply with all project governance and reporting requirements
Who you are
• Professional command of English, additional languages desired
• Strong experience of project management
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, PMP certification is a plus
• Superior project management skills are required, including proven experience of implementation of complex projects
• Technology, engineering, commercial and construction experience in Crushing technologies or in the industry is essential; commissioning, operations and maintenance background is beneficial
• Ability to comprehend extensive contractual language and terms, and apply to meet contractual requirements and customer expectations
• Leadership requires soft skills such as inter-cultural awareness, motivational and negotiation skills, conflict management and alike
• This position requires excellent skills in dealing with customers, vendors and other company personnel
• Able to travel domestically and internationally and be able to stay in remote areas for up to a month at a time.
• Demonstrates strong drive, performance orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
