Introduction


We are seeking a Process Support Manager to join our team in Stirred Mills & HPGR within Services organization. As process support manager you will be liaising with product management team to support front-end process design, solve customers’ challenges and drive opportunities associated with Process optimization combined with upgrades and wear parts.
Your role plays a crucial part in process optimization of the concentrator plant, which will contribute to the added value of optimization services to our end users.
In this position, you will report to VP, Stirred Mills & HPGR.
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba (BRSORO), Santiago (CLSANT), West Perth (AUWEST) or York (USYORK) and it involves up to 50% of travel.

You will join a team of Stirred Mills & HPGR dedicated to drive the aftermarket business growth in a profitable and sustainable way. 
We are currently working on several projects globally mainly in North America, South America and Asia pacific, but not limited to these regions.
We work closely with internal / external stakeholders, such Business Lines, Sales, Technical Support, Supply Chain and Clients.

What you’ll do


•    Support start-up and commissioning process of new projects and equipment’s (Vertimill, HIG mill, SMD and HRC) at customer site
•    Coordinate and take part in processing plant audits
•    Interview and collaborate with plant personnel to help them achieve their objectives
•    Statistical data analysis, data reporting, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving
•    Provide technical support for digital solutions
•    Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for the defined technology and ensures that the sales case is built accordingly
•    Attend customer meetings as necessary to develop customer solutions and provide technical and commercial support in closing sales
•    Prepare accurate and timely process simulation modeling including expected values and design conditions considering various process conditions
•    Ensures compliance within the sales process, proposals and risk management procedures in active opportunities
•    Constantly seeks new ways to sell and develop business models
•    Responsible for providing expert content to training team and if needed participate into training events
•    Provide technical support to sales staff and assist in developing positive customer relationships


Who you are


•    Bachelor’s in Engineering, Mineral Processing
•    Solid experience in process engineering or operations serving the mining or heavy equipment industries
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
•    Able to travel up to 50% of time, domestic or international
•    Have capability and perseverance for troubleshooting issues
•    Workstyle is independent and have attention to details
•    Highly motivated in supporting internal customers’ success. 
•    A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability.
•    Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage
•    Engineering skills must include proven abilities in data handling and applied statistics, control theory and logic, application of mineral processing principles, unit operations modeling, and structured problem solving
•    Familiarity with the broad range of Stirred Mills & HPGR related equipment / products.
