Introduction
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. You will be responsible for administering all CNS warranty claims in collaboration with the Global Team. This includes collecting information from Market Areas (MAs) and Distributors, coordinating activities to improve internal processes, managing system interactions with MA, BL, and SC, and ensuring that claims are directed to the appropriate stakeholders for root cause analysis and corrective actions. The role contributes directly to customer satisfaction, profitability, and long-term customer relations. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
In this position, you will report to Manager, Quality Development.
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba/BR, Lima/PE, Santiago/CL and it involves up to 30% of travel.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Global Quality Development team dedicated to manage, monitor, handling the CNS Customer Claim cases. We are currently working on Customer complain / claim process.
We work closely with internal / external stakeholders, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Product Lines.

What you’ll do
- Ensure overall coordination between CNS BA and with other departments concerned like: Product Line, Business Line, Supply Chain, Quality Team, Warehouse, Manufacture Plants, Engineering, Global Order Management, others;
- Processing and follow-up of complaints from MAs and Distributors, in particular: Verification and validation of information, analyses, requests for opinions or additional elements, follow-up and closure of claims;
- Lead and conduct regular warranty claim meetings with BA, MA, SC to improve process visibility;
- Determine the level of criticality, provide accurate claim information to related users / BA’s, ensure the traceability of claims and proper reporting to CNS BA;
- Train and support Market Areas (Asia, Pacific, Europe, Americas, Africa, Middle East, South America, China) to the adequate usage of the CRM system (Salesforce) and other related tools (SAP);
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of warranty claims and associated documentation;
- Promote and actively participate in process improvement initiatives within the organization;
- Ensure timely response to all warranty inquiries and provide necessary support to MAs and Distributors;
- Work to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in the claim process;
- Coordinate with Order Management Team to issue credit notes for Distributor cases;
- Review all customer claims and assign them to the appropriate Approver within the required timeframe;
- Contribute to global initiatives aimed at improving the customer claim process in collaboration with the Global Team and other departments.
Who you are
▪ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
▪ Advanced English proficiency;
▪ Knowledge of Consumables Products portfolio;
▪ Familiarity with Quality Management System (ISO 9001);
▪ Strong understanding of CAPA Process and 8D methodology for RCA - root cause analysis, as well as other quality methods;
▪ Experience with SAP SD, MM, QM, Power BI and CRM - Customer Relationship Management tool (Salesforce);
▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
▪ Strong process-oriented mindset;
▪ Skilled in conflict resolution and mediation between stakeholders.
