Introduction
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Foundry Technology team. You will be responsible for providing technical support for our foundry network driving sustainable improvements in productivity, efficiency and innovation. Your contributions will play a key role in strengthening our operations and supporting the success of our business.
In this position, you will report to Sr. Manager, Foundry Technology.
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba and it involves up to 30% of travel.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Foundry Technology dedicated to support the management of capex projects, improvements and new technologies development that contribute to operational excellence.
We work closely with internal / external stakeholders, such as Manufacturing, Engineering, HSE, Maintenance and others.

Although this position is based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be working alongside team members located globally.
What you’ll do
• Support the management of the capex projects, improvements and new technologies developments focusing improvement in quality, productivity, cost reduction and HSE.
• Prepare and update investments requirements, business cases, feasibility studies and execution schedules.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including equipment supply and installation timelines, in coordination with internal departments
• Be responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, timelines and status reports
• Assist in budgeting and cost control, monitor project expenses, and support technical specification reviews.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making, including gathering data and preparing reports.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide support to global foundry technology team regarding foundries projects
• Provide support for installation/commissioning activities when required
• Assist with the selection of vendors (validation), quotations analysis and factory acceptance test as required
• Assess and prioritize work requirements, ensuring timely execution and openness to guidance and feedback.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Comply with HSE and quality policies, procedures, practices of the company and disseminate them in all areas under its management.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards actively, promoting safety practices across all project areas.
Who you are
Bachelor´s degree with experience in related areas. Area of study: Engineering
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Proven experience in managing industrial or technical projects.
Work in an environment with international objectives.
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic project requirements and priorities.
Available to interact with internal customers and external vendors as required.
Comprehensive knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to keep strong relationships with our internal / external manufacturing partners.
