Introduction
We are seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager to join our Logistics/Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for supporting and ensuring the integrated execution of domestic logistics, import and export processes, ensuring service to internal and external customers, deadline compliance, legal and customs compliance, cost control, management of logistics suppliers, and continuous process improvement. The position acts as a focal point among Commercial, Planning, Warehouse, Tax, Quality, Procurement, customs brokers, carriers and logistics service providers, driving operational efficiency, predictability and sustainable results. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
In this position, you will report to Sr. manager SAM, Standard Logistics.
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba and it involves up to 10 % of travel.
Team you will belong to
You will join a team of Standard Logistics Services dedicated to local and international logistics (inbound/outbound/Local deliveries).
You will be accountable for end-to-end SVS logistics execution performance in BR, leading the Market Area SVS standard logistics organization and working in close partnership with Market Area Backlog and Exception Management (BEM), SVS Supply Chain execution teams, and our nominated Logistics Service Providers. You will ensure smooth daily execution, proactive exception handling, and effective escalation when needed.Our team culture is all about customer in center, high ambition – always, getting it done – together and open and honest.

What you’ll do
Coordinate domestic transportation, pick-ups, deliveries, distribution, carrier management, loading schedule, deadline performance, costs and occurrences.
Coordinate inbound international shipments, customs clearance, interface with customs brokers and LSPs, transit follow-up, documentation, costs and cargo release.
Coordinate outbound shipments, bookings, export documentation, alignment with customers, LSPs, terminals, carriers and internal areas to meet agreed deadlines.
Manage contracts, SLAs, performance, development of new partners, negotiation and action plans with LSPs, carriers, customs brokers and other providers.
Control logistics costs, accruals, billing, savings, annual budget, cost allocations, charge audits and optimization opportunities.
Monitor KPIs, analyze deviations, conduct follow-up routines, ensure system updates and propose corrective and preventive actions.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Production Engineering or related areas.
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Operations Management, Projects or related areas.
Desirable 5 to 7 years in logistics, supply chain, foreign trade, transportation, distribution, import and/or export, with experience in team and supplier management.
Advanced knowledge in Excel and data analysis.
Advanced proficiency in English.
