Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Import Analyst to join our Logistics/Supply Chain team. In this role, you will s to negotiate and purchase materials from international suppliers while managing and monitoring all import processes to ensure full compliance with customers' needs and business requirements, Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business. 

In this position, you will report to our BR Assistant Manager, Standard Logistics

This role is based in Sorocaba and it involves up to 10 % of travel (NACIONAL / INTERNACIONAL).

Team you will belong to

You will join a team of Standard Logistics Services dedicated to local and international logistics (inbound/outbound/Local deliveries). You will be accountable for SVS logistics execution for inbound shipments performance in BR, and working in close partnership with Market Area Backlog and Exception Management (BEM), SVS Supply Chain execution teams, and our nominated Logistics Service Providers. You will ensure smooth daily execution, proactive exception handling, and effective escalation when needed.Our team culture is all about customer in center, high ambition – always, getting it done – together and open and honest.

What you’ll bring

•    Coordinate inbound international shipments, customs clearance, interface with customs brokers and LSPs, transit follow-up, documentation, costs and cargo release.
•    Monitor and control international sea and air shipments, coordinating with service providers regarding costs and delivery schedules. 
•    Participate in meetings with Contracts and Planning departments to discuss timelines, project milestones, and critical events. 
•    Coordinate customs clearance activities with customs brokers to ensure the timely release of goods through customs authorities or bonded warehouses. 
•    Manage import processes involving external organizations and government agencies, including Banco do Brasil, Federal Revenue Service, State Revenue Service, DECEX, SECEX, Central Bank, Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), ABIMAQ, and Consulates
•    Serve as an escalation point for logistics questions from sales, customer service, production planning, procurement, warehouse, vendor, and logistics service provider personnel.
•    Maintain accurate shipment and movement records in ERP systems, ensuring traceability and alignment with internal processes.
•    Identify and resolve logistics issues such as carrier delays, routing challenges, or urgent customer needs, and recommend process improvements. 

Who you are

•    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Production Engineering or related areas.
•    Desirable Postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Operations Management
•    Desirable 5 years in logistics, supply chain, foreign trade, transportation, distribution, import and/or export, 
•    Advanced knowledge in Excel and data analysis.
•    Advanced proficiency in English.
•    Strong ability to communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
•    Solid experience with inbound and outbound government requirements, including customs compliance, broker management, audit support, and product classification (HS codes / tariff classification), considered a valuable asset for this role.
•    Ability to support operations serving both standard and remote delivery environments.
•    Proficiency with ERP systems, TMS, logistics KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
