Introduction 

  

We are seeking a Director, Non-ferrous and Smelting recycling PG for the new Non-ferrous and Smelting recycling product group. The product group is part of the Smelting Business Line in Minerals BA.

This position is primarily located in Skellefteå, Sweden, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options or other locations. 

  

Team you belong to 

  

You will join the Smelting business line and leadership team. You will collaborate with several experts from sales, R&D, technology, engineering and delivery teams and other stakeholders. 

  

You will lead Non-ferrous and Smelting recycling product group team and business to achieve profitable growth. The key focus areas for the coming years are maintaining our leadership in existing products and developing new cutting-edge products to the market in line with Metso’s and Smelting´s strategy. The market is interesting with many opportunities at hand and several new opportunities emerging. 

  

What you’ll do 

  

  • Responsible for the profit and loss of the Product Group  

  • Define Product Group strategy, budget, R&D initiatives, product management and collaborating actively with sales team  

  • Provide leadership and direction to your team  

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and align their goals and objectives with the goals of the Product Group   

  

Who you are 

  

  • Master’s (or Bachelor's) degree in chemical, process, engineering, or metallurgy 

  • Strong experience in technology, delivery, sales or related functions 

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills 

  • Strong development focus and eagerness to achieve new heights in products and technologies 

  • Driven by business results 

  • Sales-oriented and proactive mindset 

  • Readiness for global travel
