Introduction to the role:
This position is responsible for developing capital equipment sales of SRHeavy Stationary and Powertrack Mobile equipment (crushers, screens, etc.) and aftermarket opportunities in APA (Asia Pacific), as well as Technical service support in regions including APA (Asia Pacific) and etc.
The incumbent will foster value-adding customer relationships, and manage all sales related aspects, including proposal preparation, discussions and finalization of agreements and distribution management, customers and distributors technical support, field service, training on operation, maintenance, and service of the product.

Main responsibilities:
For sales responsibilities:
•    Evaluate and appoint, where approved, suitable and sustainable distribution channels, in line with export business strategy.
•    Manage the development of all areas of pre- and post-sales support, ensuring the distribution channels become as self-sufficient as possible.
•    Implement adequate training, in all aspects of pre and post product support, for the distributor(s) and end customers, on a regular basis.
•    Manage the distribution channel accounts, including inventory, credit control, financing etc.
•    Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing dealer performance, due actions, plans, strategies, forecasts, budgets and cost analysis etc.
•    Provide link between the local Metso, SRHeavy, PowerTrack organization, and the distribution channel, in terms of flow of information, support, product supply, service and general back up where required.
•    Attend and participate in relevant exhibitions, conduct Roadshows and provide clear guidance and instructions to distributor(s) and implement ’s sales & marketing strategy in the territory.
•    Drive and motivate the distributors to achieve the annual targets.
•    Call on customers, such as aggregate producers, contractors and engineering houses at quarries, mine sites, principal offices and other establishments and attempt to convince prospective clients of desirability and practicability of offering for products and services offered.
•    Develop and prepare quotations, as required, to increase sales volumes, improve profitability and increase margins.   
•    Draw up, or propose, changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services, which would result in cost reduction, or improvement in operations.
•    Provide technical services to distributors and end customers, relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipment.
•    Plan and implement sales and service programs to promote offering products, improve competitive position in area, and provide fast and efficient customer service.
•    Resolve customer complaints regarding equipment, supplies and services.
•    Develop and implement sales objectives and action plans to accommodate the region’s strategic plans.
•    Provide sales forecasting for assigned customer base and sets performance goals accordingly.
•    Assist distributor and end customers with product and applications training.
For service responsibilities:
•    Effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external customers/distributor to response service requests, diagnosing equipment problems and providing timely and effective solutions.
•    Performing on-site repairs, maintenance, installations, start-up and training of equipment.
•    Respond to customer complaints and escalate complaints process internally to resolve the problem in a timely manner. 
•    Responsible to aftermarket business, managing sales tools of aftermarket, negotiate with customers on contracts, to reach KPI on aftermarket sales.
•    Documenting service and aftermarket activities, including service reports, warranty reports, parts sales & inventory, and customer communication, to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability.

To succeed:
Essential
•    Fluency in English language 
•    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field. 
•    8 years sales experience in APA (Asia Pacific).
•    Experience must be from following industries: Heavy Equipment for Aggregates, Construction, Minerals Processing and allied service industries. 
•    Ability to write and present reports, business analysis and plan to groups of managers, distributors and customers 
•    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 
•    Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
•    Customer-focused attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•    Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
