Sourcing Strategy Development
•    Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
•    Analyze the supply chain and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization. Cost Reduction Initiatives
•    Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through effective negotiation and collaboration with suppliers.
•    Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance to identify areas for improvement.
Contract Negotiation
•    Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
•    Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
•    Provide input into product development processes to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Supplier Management
•    Evaluate and select suppliers based on their capabilities, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality goods and services.
Risk Management
•    Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors.
•    Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Market Analysis
•    Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies that may impact the sourcing strategy.
•    Conduct regular market analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities for innovation.
 
Who you are:

 

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) may be preferred.
•    Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management •    Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and sourcing.
•    Proficiency in using sourcing and procurement software
.
