Job Statement:

 

Responsible for the management of the company's sourcing processes, planning, coordinating, and supervising the assets under his supervision and working closely with other departments.                              

What you'll do:

 

  • Sourcing strategy for BL/Country: prepare and execute sourcing strategies for all relevant material and service categories
  • Supplier base: define and own preferred supplier base in each BL, and local supplier base in countries
  • Negotiations: negotiate frame agreements, including pricelists, and manage contracts, maintain documentation and contract database
  • Supplier relationship management: act as SRM for strategic suppliers or join team managing a supplier; own commercial relationships as vendor owner
  • Supplier performance management: set performance targets, monitor and evaluate long-term supplier performance against agreed criteria, and agree actions on systematic deviations and drive continuous improvement, Manage / Monitor vendor QNs 
  • Demand forecast: share the high-level demand projections with key suppliers, acts on long-term bottlenecks.
  • Supplier development: drive identification and development of new suppliers, particularly in Best Cost Country (BCC).
  • Product development: participate in cross-functional teams working on product concepts, ensure supplier capabilities, resourcing and procurement commercial aspects considered and secured.
  • Supplier compliance: ensure sign-off and Supplier Code of Conduct, compliance, qualify new suppliers and drive supplier sustainability engagement program. 
  • Data Maintenance: Procurement related data such as Vendor master, agreements etc.

Who you are:

 

  • Industrial Civil Engineer, Mechanical Civil Engineer, Commercial Engineer or similar degree.
  • Specialization in Sourcing or Supply Chain is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years in similar positions.
  • Experience in industrial, metalworking, mining, or EPCM engineering companies is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Planning, Management Control, Supply and Sourcing.
  • Office Computing, advanced level (Excel), PowerPoint (effective presentations)
  • SAP MM module (specifically MRP management) and SD, advanced level
  • Advanced level English
  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes and foundries
  • Power BI or other data analysis software.
