Summary
Responsible for managing regional Global Delivery Management team. Daily operations of Delivery Management will be supervised to meet KPI’s and global process compliance. Participation of large-scale global project and creation of global process guidelines. Global Delivery Management main activity areas are management of Special Orders, end-to-end coordination and communication to all stakeholders, Net Sales assurance for Special orders and change management for all Special orders in scope.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the activities of Delivery Management team
- Manage the team of Delivery Specialists and Delivery Managers to monitor and prioritize Special delivery cases and make sure coordination & communication is carried out according to contractual requirements, corporate processes and guidelines.
- Workload management and distribution
- Accountable for Business Area Sales for all Special Orders
- Manage HR related topics regarding your team members
- Own and drive continuous improvement programs around performance and service – improve workflow and methodology – within BA and cross BL/BAs
- Actively interact with Product Groups and other relevant stakeholders to understand and communicate product strategy/growth strategy to the team
- Manage and ensure compliance to Metso standards, policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws
- Actively interact with stakeholders to ensure best practices are shared and communicated
- Assess customer feedback to establish, improve and refine services
- Build partnership and liaise with project managers and other managers/teams to determine the company´s services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise
- Raise up opportunities and solutions to develop performance, customer experience e.g. by product or process development, tools and way of working. Participate in agreed development projects

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Related BA degree, certification and technical abilities
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in sales support, supply chain or purchasing.
- Experience in managing customer service or purchasing team a plus.
- Experience in managing and developing processes and operating model.
- Experience working in the mining, engineering or construction related industry.
- Experience with Metso products.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong management skills including team orientation, drive of performance culture and motivation of team members.
- Capability to articulate and communicate topics within the area of expertise to all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of customer, competitor and supplier development, trends and technologies.
- Ability to collect data & information to make strategic analysis & recommendations.
- A high level of computer skills is essential – Excel, Word, Power Point and Access.
- Strong operational performance: Cost and performance vs. set KPIs, industry standards and competitors.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong familiarity with IT tools and ERP/integrated system (preferable SAP.
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet the deadlines.
- Language skills (written, listening and oral): English (mandatory).
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere.
- Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks, decision making and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel local/globally.
