Introduction 

 

We are in search of a proactive and strategic professional to take on a key role in our company.

 

The Aftermarket DM is a member of the DMO organization, it requires frequent travel to the markets responsible.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and management of our network of Aftermarket products distributors (crushing) in the quarry, construction, and contracting segment.

 

Their primary responsibility will be to drive sales and Metso's presence in the region, ensuring the effective implementation of the commercial strategy through our distribution channels.

 

The role reports to the LATAM Director and work in partnership with the Aftermarket DM to form a commercial crew responsible for the overall penetration and business management of the Metso Aggregates solution offering in the area of responsibility.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Identify, develop, and manage key distributors, the backbone of our market presence, to ensure effective coverage of the target market.
  • Develop a relevant Business Plan and follow up on execution with the dealer.
  • Drive distributor business process & capability development.
  • Drive transactional activities & day-to-day work without being stuck in it
  • Support dealer in commercial activity at customer events as required.
  • Drive, manage and support distributor inventory levels (maximize end customer availability)
  • Execute DMO growth initiatives;
  • Assess report and follow up on Aftermarket Competence at Distributors.
  • Follow, manage & drive dealer appointment & onboarding process.
  • Follow, manage & keep distributor opportunity funnel up to date in Metso CRM tool.
  • Follow accounts receivable and overdue collection.
  • Drive competitive & market intelligence to define the best way forward to drive growth.
  • Monitor the performance of each distributor through defined key performance indicators (KPIs), establishing improvement plans as necessary.
  • Analyze the market and propose actions to maximize market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Support for co-op marketing, financing, and training programs.
  • Drive & promote Metso brand image, value, and culture.
  • Implement regional initiatives aligned with Metso´s strategy, with your crucial role in ensuring their proper adoption by the distributors.
  • Provide unwavering technical and commercial support to the distribution network, bolstering their confidence and promoting the sale of crushing equipment.
  • Coordinate training, workshops, and joint activities with distributors to strengthen their selling capacity.

 

 

 

Who you are

 

  • Commercial / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related careers.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing distribution channels, ideally in industries related to heavy machinery, mining, construction, or capital equipment.
  • Negotiation skills, strategic planning, and commercial leadership.
  • Availability for regional travel.
  • Advanced English (oral and written).
