Metso Saudi Arabia is looking for Maintenance Reliability Superintendent to join our Saudi project team for 2 years subject for extension, with long’ experience in Maintenance Management, Reliability Engineering, life and repair data analysis, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, RCM Analysis, RCA Analysis, FMEA, RCA and RAMS Analysis, Life-Cycle Cost analysis, Cost Risk Optimization and strong knowledge in the planning, execution, and control of maintenance projects for physical assets of industrial installations and experienced in managing multidisciplinary teams, focused on safety, environment and achievement of objectives, developing and coaching national teams in projects related to the implementation of the Maintenance Management System and reliability equipment analysis
Your will be accountable for
- Develop Power BI dashboards for reliability KPIs, asset performance, and maintenance effectiveness.
- Perform Weibull analysis to identify failure patterns and optimize preventive maintenance intervals.
- Calculate and monitor MTBF, MTTR, failure rate, and equipment availability.
- Support predictive maintenance initiatives using CMMS, PI historian, and condition monitoring data.
- Integrate DCS, MIS, and CMMS data sources to enable automated reliability reporting.
- Provide statistical reliability analysis to support maintenance strategy optimization.
- Lead and oversee the entire RCA process, ensuring high-quality investigations and actionable outcomes.
- Reviewing and updating RCA triggers based on business needs or customer SAMP update.
- Ensure all corrective actions are tracked, implemented, and followed up on a weekly basis to prevent recurring issues.
- Develop training programs to enhance RCA capability across departments
- Ensure the timely and consistent reporting of key monthly performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement automated data collection and analysis to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Identify and propose improvements based on KPI trends and insights.
- Continuously review and optimize the maintenance strategy within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, intervals, and practices are up to date and aligned with optimization studies and RCA findings.
- Provide governance layer of condition monitoring activities:
- Review the list of critical equipment to include in the condition monitoring program
- Provide the reporting methodology mechanism and template.
- Optimization of the monitoring interval for the equipment.
- Approve and enforce Asset Integrity guidelines in compliance with relevant API (American Petroleum Institute) and ISO standards.
- PMs optimization of Pressure Safety Valves PSV, pressure vessels PV, Tanks
- Optimize data flows from Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to Management Information Systems (MIS) and Power BI (PBI) to enable autonomous, real-time reporting.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve system integration and data accuracy.
Your will be Responsible for
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of monthly reports, including all KPIs.
- Communicate with various departments to collect, validate, and consolidate data.
- Lead meetings and conduct investigations to resolve data discrepancies, as needed.
- Mentor and develop reliability engineers and technicians to build a high-performance team.
- Facilitate cross-department collaboration to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or participate in reliability-focused improvement projects, such as equipment upgrades and process optimizations.
- Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with operational goals.

- Safety Leadership
- Adhere to and promote all Life Saving Rules established by Metso and the customer.
- Ensure all reliability activities are conducted in accordance with mine safety policies and procedures.
- Safety Observations and Reporting
- Record and report all safety observations and findings in the HSE24 system.
- Participate in site safety audits and initiatives, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
Who You Are :
- Minimum bachelor level degree in Mechanical/industrial engineering or comparable experience
- Experience in maintenance practices for industrial process equipment’s.
- Good interpersonal and team working skills, with the ability to communicate regularly with internal and external customers
- Experience in using project management tools
- Managing customer relationship and customer satisfaction service business
- Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance planning and scheduling and Statistical process control
- Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability and Availability modelling and prediction
- Fault tree analysis, Weibull analysis, Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC) and RAM analysis (Reliability, Availability and Maintenance)
- Reliability Root cause analysis (RCA), Failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS) & Condition-based maintenance (CBM).
- Equipment Reliability Analysis, Maintenance planning and scheduling and Development optimization of maintenance strategies
- Equipment maintainability analysis and Asset Life Cycle Cost Analysis
