Head of Warehousing

Introduction
We are seeking a Head of Warehousing, CNS Greater China to join our Consumables Logistics CHN team. The Head of Warehousing is responsible for leading the overall operation and management of Quzhou Warehousing Center, ensuring efficient, safe and cost-effective warehousing, packaging, inventory and order fulfillment operations. This role will drive process optimization, team management and performance improvement to support the regional supply chain development.
This position is mainly located in Quzhou, China.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of supply chain and logistics experts dedicated to optimizing warehousing and distribution processes, who are passionate about driving reliable delivery performance and continuous improvement across logistics operations. We are currently working on visibility and tracking processes, continuous improvement initiatives, performance dashboards, and multi-site distribution operations.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Production, Procurement, Planners, HS&E, and logistics carriers and vendors. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement warehousing strategies, operational plans and optimization measures to meet efficiency, cost and quality objectives.
- Oversee the entire warehousing process: goods receiving, inspection, storage, packaging, picking, sorting and outbound, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Manage inventory accuracy, implement scientific stocktaking mechanisms, and control slow-moving/obsolete goods to optimize storage space and capital utilization.
- Lead, train and supervise the warehousing team, set performance targets, conduct performance evaluations and improve team productivity and professionalism.
- Ensure warehouse safety (fire, electrical, operational) by establishing and implementing safety management systems, conducting regular inspections and drills.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement and sales teams to ensure smooth order delivery and optimize the end-to-end supply chain flow.
- Monitor operational costs, identify cost-saving opportunities and control expenses within the budget.
- Introduce and promote digital tools (e.g., WMS, EWM) and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Handle operational exceptions, resolve problems in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit regular operational reports to the senior management team.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related fields; 5+ years of warehousing management experience, 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Familiar with warehousing operations, inventory management, packaging processes and logistics coordination; experience with EWM/WMS and barcode scanning systems is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, able to motivate and develop the team to achieve operational goals.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills, with a focus on detail and efficiency.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience in establishing safety management systems.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) and computer skills (Office, logistics management software).
- Ability to work under pressure, proactive and results-oriented.
