- Establish technical audit processes to ensure adherence to the technical management system and standards across all departments.
- Champion a culture of standardization and best practice sharing throughout the organization.
2. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Define and execute the technology innovation roadmap, identifying and integrating emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Initiate and lead strategic, cross-functional projects focused on process optimization, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving for complex technical challenges.
3. Change Management Governance
- Manage and optimize the management of change (MOC) process to ensure all technical and process modifications are systematically evaluated, approved, documented, and communicated.
- Assess the comprehensive impact of changes on product quality, manufacturing processes, cost, and supply chain.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving major changes.
4. Operational Support & New Product Development
- Serve as the ultimate technical escalation point for manufacturing and operations, providing decisive solutions to critical production issues.
- Provide expert technical guidance and oversight throughout the new parts development process, from initial design feasibility to production launch.
- Ensure manufacturability and process capability are core considerations during the development phase.
- Lead the technical integration and smooth transition of new products from development into stable mass production.
5. Strategic Customer & Global Technology Interface
- Act as the key technical partner for strategic customers, translating their needs into actionable requirements for both local and global engineering roadmaps.
- Align customer commitments with global technology strategy, serving as the primary liaison between local team and global team
- Lead the local execution of global initiatives to meet specific customer and market demands.
6. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Design and implement a structured successor planning and talent development program to build leadership pipeline and ensure knowledge retention.
- Oversee resource planning, skill gap analysis, and professional development for the technical department.
- Promote effective knowledge management practices to capture and institutionalize critical technical expertise.
