Introduction
We are looking for an Engineer, Screen Media to join our China Region Screening Business Line team. In this role, you will help develop our screening media business by implementing global solutions, supporting regional product and solution development, and driving local product and mold design. Your work will contribute to customer satisfaction, delivery performance, and profitable growth across the region.
You will report to the General Manager, Screening Business Line, China Region. This role is based in Quzhou or Shenyang.
Team you will belong to
You will join the China Region Screening team, working across engineering, sales, delivery, supply chain, manufacturing, process and quality. The team develops screening media solutions that respond to customer needs and supports the full path from product selection and design to sourcing, delivery, technical support and optimization.
You will collaborate with customers, sales channel partners, regional product managers, China Operations, research and development engineering, manufacturing process and quality teams, logistics, and global and regional colleagues. Our way of working emphasizes accountability, open communication, cross-functional collaboration and practical problem-solving.
What you’ll do
- Implement global screening media solutions and support regional product, solution, strategy and action-plan development.
- Drive local screening media product and mold design to ensure the offering meets customer and market needs.
- Prepare quotations, recommend suitable media selections and provide application support for customer opportunities.
- Provide high-level technical support to customers, customer sites, original equipment manufacturers and third-party partners.
- Work with delivery and supply chain teams on sourcing, inventory and supply-channel setup and optimization.
- Plan and deliver screening media training for internal teams, customers and partners.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and support performance guarantees, product performance reviews and optimization.
- Maintain relevant master data and contribute to marketing content, sales campaigns, and growth and profitability analysis.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, mold design and manufacturing, or a related field.
- Three to five or more years of experience in injection molding or related industries, such as rubber, polyurethane or plastics.
- Proficiency in engineering design software, such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or SOLIDWORKS.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage several projects at the same time.
- Strong accountability, initiative and a results-oriented approach, with clear and open communication.
- Ability to build effective networks and collaborate with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
- Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise systems is considered an advantage.
