Introduction

 

We are seeking a Technical Sales Support – Mill Lining to join our Canada Market Area Sales team. You will be responsible for supporting sales growth and profitability through technical expertise and customer collaboration, which involves developing and executing mill lining strategies tailored to customer needs. Your role plays a crucial part in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business success in the region. In this position, you will report to the Director- Process Solutions.

 

This position is mainly located in the West side of Canada (Prince George), and we are happy to offer relocation options.

 

 


Team you belong to:

 

You will join a team of technical and commercial experts dedicated to delivering high-performance mill lining solutions that help our customers optimize their operations. We are currently working on expanding our market presence, developing innovative product offerings, and enhancing customer engagement.

 

We work closely with internal stakeholders such as Account Managers, Product Specialists, and Logistics, and external stakeholders including mine site engineers and procurement teams. Our team culture is all about collaboration, innovation, and customer focus. The members in our team are located across Canada and globally.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Develop and execute the Mill Lining product strategy to drive sales growth and profitability in the Canadian market.
  • Provide technical product support and analysis to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Create and present value-driven solutions, including compelling value propositions and win plans for sales opportunities.
  • Promote new product designs and innovations to both end users and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and generate new business leads; support the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Conduct product inspections and deliver thorough reports and technical analyses.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery terms for Mill Lining products.
  • Provide expert guidance during product installation and commissioning phases.

 

 

Who you are:

 

  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or have equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of comminution processes and industrial applications.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy industry, particularly in mineral processing equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, instruction, repair, and technical investigations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Mill Lining products and related processes.
  • Proficient in CAD software, SAP systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); French and/or Spanish is considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
